My goal is to become the default operator inside capital-rich ecosystems, while staying invisible. Most of my clients make well over $30M a year. And while I serve 2 very different niches…
I haven’t taken a single sales call all year. Not one. And my income keeps growing every month. I’ve posted my pricing. I’ve turned down inquiries because I didn’t feel like they were ready for me to reposition them.
This will infuriate some but I started by simply by asking:
“Is this [behaviour/ questions/ task] below my pay grade?“
To those who have no standards this is brutal. But when you‘re stepping up… you‘re going to build your own blueprint of standards.
The result is fewer clients. Bigger paydays. More space and bandwidth to do crazy shit.
This is the business I’ve always wanted to run, but I didn’t think it was possible because well “price of doing business!” and thats what you have to do!
I teach others what I walk myself. I am a consultant but I practice my craft with my big dog B2B clients… And that is relevant for you.. Because that’s likely how you do business too.
This past week I have been swept away by a massive client win… One where I was so blown away I thought well maybe this is really where I am headed.
They went viral and to my surprise… for the right reasons. We hit a massive target and I’m blown away. All through written words….responsible for 4 (!) 7 figures inbound clients.
Over the past few weeks I have realised I could still serve DFY clients, position them in brutal markets WHILE I teach my badass clients (one who just joined 2 weeks ago) how to build a business structure and actually price and raise your standards while doing crazy shit like living offgrid.
This email is entirely inspired by a former client of mine who I have worked with twice in the past 2 years. She’s manifested her dream DFY client and got the pricing approved at what is her highest ever rate.
The level of shame you‘re willing to endure directly correlates to your success. This is the root cause to a lot of reasons why people cannot scale. And I say this because I am confronting so much of it this year.
I want to say it this way… you can be your own muse. Not everything needs to be highly strategic. Its not here. I am moving my entire consulting work here to substack.
I am opening one more seat to work 1-1 with me before summer starts. In 8 weeks you’ll have luxury business where you will become less useful to your own delivery system while your OUTPRINT your last month. Seriously. That’s the shift.
